Problem: Unable to open biztalk server asministrator console, reason may be you have updated/upgraded your system or it automatically showing error i.e. MMC cannot initialize the snap-in or MMC could not create snap-in.
Solution-1:
1.
Click Start
> Run(Window+R)
2.
Type the
following:
regsvr32 C:\Windows\system32\msxml3.dll
3.
Click OK and WAIT until Windows confirms that the dll has been registered successfully.
4.
Now open Windows Explorer and browse to the
following folder:
C:\Documents and
Settings\username\Application Data\Microsoft\MMC
OR
C:\Users\Username\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\MMC
OR
C:\Users\Username\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\MMC
Note: Replace the word username above with
your own Windows username
5.
Look through the files in this folder and locate
the file with the same name as the msc file that appears in the error message.
6.
Rename the file to filename_old
7. Now try
to launch your console again and the error should be resolved.
Solution-2:
Repair your BizTak Server so if any change in registry value its resolve and after successfully repaired biztalk server now try to open again biztalk server administrator, its working properly.
Solution-3:
Go to Control Panel>>Programs>>Programs and Features basically in Unisntall or change a program then select Microsoft Biztalk Server 2016 (Your system version), now click button Uninstall/change then select repair radio button from popup windows and click OK after complete repair process and now open biztalk administrator console its working.
